The Story:

 Ever New is an Australian fast fashion brand that first launched in 2006 in Melbourne, Australia. Operating over 300 stores in 10 countries, Ever New launched their North American flagship store at Toronto’s Eaton Centre in August 2015 with DMC. The brand also has several stores in the Vancouver area including the Pacific Centre. The Ever New brand celebrates the feminine beauty of women, with an elegant signature style flowing through every creative element. The brand is well known in the southern hemisphere for their monthly on-trend and harmonious collections and also known as “Forever New” in Australia.

DMC has been Ever New’s agency of record since 2015 with the launch of their North American flagship store at Toronto’s Eaton Centre. As their Canadian partner, DMC has created and managed a series of private media events including their Spring 2016 collection preview and the launch of the Kendall and Kylie Jenner capsule collection. DMC has focused on building a prominent brand presence with the media, including a series of live segments with the Marilyn Denis Show.

The Story:

Launched in 2009 by Fiona Douglas, bluebellgray has quickly grown into one of Scotland’s most exciting textile exports. Each of the brand’s distinct watercolour floral designs is hand painted with love and results in the textile equivalent of artwork. Bluebellgray is now available in Canada at Simons, as well as select Hudson’s Bay stores across the country.

DMC has been bluebellgray’s publicity partner since 2014 and has worked to develop visibility for the brand since its launch with the Hudson’s Bay Company.  Hosting a series of private media events, DMC has worked with bluebellgray to develop a community of designers, bloggers, influencers and fans around the brand, including a focus on building its international social media following.

DMC has managed Smythe’s PR efforts in the Canadian marketplace since the atelier’s earliest days in 2004. As a true member of the team, DMC has played an integral role in Smythe’s accession to becoming an internationally recognized, iconic Canadian brand. Smythe’s One Button Blazer was worn by the Duchess twice during her Royal Visit to Canada in 2011 – a PR coup strategized and secured by DMC and has since been worn at Wimbledon, the London 2012 Olympics and the Commonwealth Games. DMC helped launch Smythe’s video campaign in Fall 2012 and played an integral role in the “Warbler Blazer” campaign (named after the singing group on Glee), a jacket which dedicated a portion of sales to anti-bullying programs and shared a social message through point of sale.

Tuck Shop Trading Co. is a Canadian brand that cites a lifestyle lived between city and cottage as its driving force and creative motivation.  With a collection of luxe yet cozy ready-to-wear coats and accessories for men and women, the brand is probably best known for their popular “City of Neighbourhoods” (CoN) toques, shirts and sweats. The CoN brand has experienced exponential growth in the past 12 months, expanding beyond Toronto to cities including Montreal, Ottawa, New York and Los Angeles.

Creating a strategic gifting partnership with eTalk, Tuck Shop saw their Toronto toques photographed on Method Man, Cara Delevingne, Lena Dunham and Hilary Duff, resulting in their first US retail order in Los Angeles.
