In the six part miniseries on HGTV, the trio renovated a retro 1950’s cottage in Parry Sound and left no...

Rep your hood all year round thanks to Tuck Shop Trading Co.

Mar 27, 2015

The one thing that makes us just the tiniest bit sad here at DMC is the fact that with warmer weather means we’ll have to retire our beloved Tuck Shop Trading Co. City of Neighbourhoods toques.

From the front page of the Metro News to the guy you see rocking the Danforth toque down the street, the City of Neighbourhoods toques have exploded and become a staple for the quintessential Torontonian.  So how exactly will you rep your h...

On average, Canadians dine out twice a week and we here at DMC average about three (okay, more like four) times a week.  Canadians are as obsessed with food culture as they are with hockey, so when GDC Media launched the inaugural Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants Magazine it gave us 100 more reasons to dine out.

On March 4 at Bar Buca, editor-in-chief Jacob Richler and publisher Geofferey Dawe hosted some of the nation’s most prominen...

Well, we here at DMC are starting our annual cleaning ritual early and we’re saying good riddance to clutter and good-bye to mess, all with the help of the very cool and very stylish, Toofifteen.

Sister’s, Ashley Botten an inte...

Our favourites from IDS 2015!

Feb 4, 2015

It was a sea of luxurious soaker tubs, terrarium lighting fixtures and yellow kitchens at the annual Interior Design Show in Toronto this year.  Along with some of our friends at HGTV’s Income Property, we walked the floor at the Opening Night Party and again on Trade Day. Here are a few things that got us inspired for home in 2015:

Caesarstone – Picture this: a giant circular swing set, men in kilt’s playing a game of...

Oct 23, 2014

How have you been spending your Tuesday nights this fall? We’ve been cuddled up at home watching our latest TV obsession, Pressure Cooker. It’s the start of W Network’s all-new food block that has home cooks battling each other against a rapidly ticking clock.
